Hi my name is Daryl and I am Melbourne based. I remember replying to an advertised position for a supermarket manager for a FIFO site and after a short discussion with the consultant, I never heard from them again. I am still keen to fill a role similar to this so if anyone can help, please contact me via my profile. Cheers.

Hi Andres. I have a friend who works for Transocean -http://www.deepwater.com/fw/main/Home-1.html. Apparently the work which the divers used to do off the oil rig he’s on is being undertaken by the Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). I would be interested to know how widely divers are still being used in the industry. I gather they were by far the most highly paid personnel on the rigs.

Hello all - thanks Penny for the invite. It's an interesting time in Resources - it seems that QLD and PERTH are still struggling to build their talent pool. I'm keen to hear about new strategies to approach the passive 'employed' candidates, especially from abroad. Thanks for joining this LinkMe group and the only way it will provide you value is if you assist in building the network!
Stuart
